My story
I’m Cassandra, the founder of Off The App Dating. This local dating community was created from a mix of faith, hospitality, and my genuine care for people. After more than 15 years in the hospitality industry, I’ve discovered over and over again that connections grow organically in welcoming environments. Whether I was behind the bar, planning events, or greeting guests, my heart was always in creating moments that made others feel comfortable and cared for.
Like many, I spent time navigating the world of online dating. I eventually met my husband there, but not without plenty of endless conversations and discouraging experiences along the way. I know firsthand how tiring it can be to wonder if real, sincere people are still out there. That is exactly why I am here, and how Off The App Dating came to be. I want to offer singles a refreshing alternative to rediscover the joys of dating.
My Christian faith shapes everything I do, and I believe relationships grow strongest when they begin with shared values. Helping people find connection is more than a business to me. It is a way to serve and encourage those right here in my community and perhaps even bring a little hope into someone’s life.
As a Certified Matchmaker, I offer a thoughtful and guided approach for those who want deeper support in finding a Christ-centered, lasting connection. Whether you come to an event or choose a one-on-one matchmaking path, my goal remains the same. I want you to feel welcomed and encouraged for what God may be preparing for your next chapter!

“Dating can be tough these days, and dating apps can feel especially exhausting for a lot of people. That’s why I really appreciate what Cassandra is doing with her matchmaking/speed dating events. Creating a space where people can meet in person is refreshing.
My parents met through a newspaper article years ago, and while that kind of thing feels almost impossible today, it’s a reminder that meeting someone organically has always mattered. There’s something way more human about getting out, talking face-to-face, and seeing if there’s a real connection.
Cassandra does a wonderful job making everyone feel welcome and comfortable, which isn’t easy when people are putting themselves out there. I haven’t found the love of my life through one of these events, but that doesn’t take away from how valuable they are for the community.
