Frequently Asked Questions
What is Off The App?
Off The App is a Wisconsin based matchmaking and events studio. We curate personal introductions for vetted singles and host low pressure gatherings where real conversation can happen. Join the free matchmaker database, meet people at your pace, and choose concierge support when you want it.
Who is Off The App for?
For singles who value time, privacy, and kind connection. Most members are in their 20s through 70s and want something more intentional than swiping. If you prefer warm introductions and thoughtful follow through, you will feel at home here.
How does personalized matchmaking work?
We start with a private conversation to learn your story, goals, values, and nonnegotiables. We build a plan that fits your pace, then curate introductions from our vetted Wisconsin network. We confirm mutual interest before you meet and check in after to refine gently.
Is it free to join the database?
Yes. Joining the database is free and there is no obligation. All members are verified and subject to a confidential background check to support the safety of our community. Only the details you approve are ever shared.
Where are your events?
Our singles events are hosted across Wisconsin with a focus primarily on the Fox Cities, Green Bay, Oshkosh and the surrounding communities. These events are well-organized, intentionally low pressure, and grouped by age range. Check the Events page for upcoming dates and venues.
Why in person?
The world of online dating isn’t necessarily known for being warm nor welcoming. Juggling multiple conversations, being left hanging out of the blue, and not to mention the increase of potential scams. This can all inevitably leave hopeful singles guarded and ready to give up on love all together. Our events and introductions are designed for natural conversation, clear signals, and genuine ease. The room is set for comfort, not performance, so you can simply be yourself.
When is the next event?
You can see our full event schedule on the Events page. If you happen to see an event that catches your eye, mark your calendar and snag yourself an early bird ticket deal.
