Hi, I’m Cassandra, the heart behind Off The App. For over 15 years, I’ve worked in the hospitality world, where I learned that true connection often happens over shared food, great drinks, and genuine conversation. Whether I was behind the bar, planning private events, or welcoming guests at the door, my favorite part of the job has always been creating spaces where people feel comfortable and cared for.

Like so many, I’ve lived the rollercoaster of online dating. I met my husband there eventually, but not before countless awkward first dates, dry small talk, and a lot of soul-searching. I know firsthand how draining it can be to put yourself out there and wonder if there’s actually anyone real on the other side of the screen. That’s exactly why I created Off The App. I wanted to offer a refreshing, face-to-face way to meet people who are hopeful, kind, and ready for something real beyond a screen.
